Event Description

In many ways public relations is the foundation of everything we do in the advertising industry. One of the biggest changes in recent years to the PR world has been the explosion of social media, but what does this really mean? How can new social communication tools, such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin help public relations, and more importantly, what are some of the hazards to watch out for? In this seminar, “Where Public Relations and Social Media Meet,” our panelists will share with you what works when pitching a story and how to adapt to the rapidly changing landscape. ABOUT OUR PANELISTS: Terry Boyd is currently Chief Operating Officer of Insider Louisville, a web-based news and entertainment delivery service for the Louisville region.
